(01)About the academy
Founded by Dr. Sarabpreet Singh to formalise and raise the standard of training in clinical embryology and andrology. Teaching happens online, in a working IVF lab at Artemis Hospital, Gurugram, and on site in clinics.
(02)The IVF continuum
Follow one cycle from stimulation to implantation. Each step shows what happens, and the courses that teach it.
01Day −12 to −2
Gonadotropins grow a cohort of follicles while ultrasound and hormone monitoring guide the dose. A trigger (hCG, agonist or dual) is timed about 34–36 hours before retrieval.
02Day 0
Follicles are aspirated under transvaginal ultrasound guidance, and the embryologist finds each cumulus–oocyte complex in the follicular fluid.
03Day 0
Semen is assessed against WHO criteria, then density-gradient or swim-up preparation selects motile sperm for IVF, ICSI or IUI.
04Day 0
Oocytes are inseminated conventionally, or denuded and injected by ICSI: a holding pipette steadies the oocyte, polar body at 6 or 12 o’clock, and a fine needle delivers one sperm.
05Day 1 · 16–18 h
Normal fertilisation shows two pronuclei and two polar bodies, assessed 16–18 hours after insemination or injection.
06Day 2–3
The embryo divides to about four cells on day 2 and eight on day 3. Cell number, symmetry and fragmentation are graded.
07Day 5–6
A fluid-filled cavity forms. Expansion, the inner cell mass and the trophectoderm are graded before transfer, biopsy or freezing.
08Day 5–6
A few trophectoderm cells can be biopsied for preimplantation genetic testing: PGT-A for aneuploidy, PGT-M for monogenic conditions, PGT-SR for structural rearrangements.
09Any stage
Oocytes and embryos are cryopreserved by ultra-rapid cooling into liquid nitrogen at −196 °C, then warmed for a frozen embryo transfer.
10Day 3, 5 or frozen cycle
With the endometrium prepared, the embryo is placed with a soft catheter under ultrasound guidance, followed by luteal phase support.
11After transfer
When implantation fails repeatedly or pregnancies are lost, the work-up turns to genetics and immunology.
Air quality, VOCs, gases, media, calibration and KPIs decide whether each step works.

(10)Reviews
As this reproductive immunology is a trending subject with genetics, this is the 1st platform to bring it forward, & the lectures were very interactive, i enjoyed all the sessions, thank you for this course
My first course was of intense two weeks embryology practice, long discussions about dos & donts, trouble shooting & about how to continuously evaluate your skills and over all lab performance. … The best part was that later on I could join in for further skill enhancements on the weekends.
Today, I am proud to say that I’m able to manage all lab procedures and paperwork according to the law & I owe a huge part of that to Fertilis Academy.
A nice and must be faculty to belong for the best and enriching experience that I have never seen.
